This is a NOS (new old stock) watch. Never worn and in perfect, original condition straight out of the 1970's.

The shiny steel case has a red dial that covers the discs that make a Jump Hour watch unique.  It is a mechanical movement but it is made to look like a digital watch (this one even says digital on the dial!).

This is because the Quartz crisis in the 1970's nearly killed off the Swiss Watch industry.  Everyone suddenly wanted these cool Casio's and Seiko that worked with a battery.  Sales of Swiss Watches plumeted and many went bust - Like Brietling for instance.  

So this watch is from the famous Swiss Brand Lucerne who decide to try and fight the quartz watches with a "lookalike" mechanical jump hour watch.

Everything is in perfect condition and it works fine.  The red velvet effect strap is the original but changing it occassionaly for a NATO strap will give you may options and looks for the watch.
