This is a lovely and very rare watch. It's from Guy Robert who worked for Chanel in their perfume division before founding his own luxury perfume range. He designed what French perfumery calls “grand parfums,” perfume symphonies. Mr. Robert’s creations also include Hermès Equipage, Doblis, Madame Rochas, Monsieur Rochas, Gucci Pour Homme (1976), The Pink Room Parfum No 1, Parfum Gres Chouda, among many others.
As his clients included royalty and the Rich & Famous he also had a line of exclusive watches.
This is one of those watches dating from around 1975. It has a Valjoux 7722 movement and works perfectly. The dial is in perfect condition and is a deep blue with silver batons marking the hours. The rotating bezel and screw down crown are original to the watch and its finished with a mustard colour strap that sets off the blue and silver of the watch perfectly.
A true collectors item, and a rare find in such condition.
