This is a very rare Zodiac 36000 ST with the most amazing original dial.  Straight out of the 1970's its chunky TV shape and sports bracelet make it a head turner.

The dial is split into 4 quaters with each a champagne coloured reflective surface that looks better in real life than photos can do it justice.

You can see a red dot on the dial at 5 O'clock.  This is due to Zodiac having a collection of watches call the "Point Collection".   With the Point Collection Zodiac sought to create a tiered system of technical watches, with a specific focus on divers and chronographs. The three tiers were Red, Gold, and Silver.  The Red Point watches were labeled the “Professional Sports Watches”

The red second hands sweeps due to the 36,000 beats per minute of the Super Fast movement.  It's accurate to go with being cool looking.

It’s a reminder of the heady days of high-speed movements, where watch manufacturers built faster and faster beating watches in the quest for accuracy.

This one beats 10 times a second, so 36000 times an hour.
