The Bulova Royal Oak was designed by Gerald Genta, the man who also designed the legindary  Audmars Piguet Royal Oak.  Hence why this is also referred to as a Royal Oak.  Bulova was sued by Audmars but they were unable to prevent the watch being sold as Genta worked for Bulova at the time he designed it and they had the rights to make the watch using his work.  

Very few come onto the market and this is my second.  The first was sold to a buyer in New York within days of listing.  This watch comes with its original box and is in great condition.

The dial retains its condition depsite being 40 years old and overall the watch is in good condition and works perfectly.  Recently serviced, but never polished (I don't like polished watches as it spoils their character IMO)

An AP Royal Oak is around £30k so this on your wrist for less than £3k is a bargain.
