Sicura Jump Hour Watches are so on trend at the moment.  They are both retro and modern at the same time.  This is a rare example as its in such good condition and has the blue dial and square shape case that sets it apart from the rounder versions.  
 
Recently serviced and runs perfectly.  The red & white second hand rotates around the centre and the top aperture shows the minutes passing.  The hour window then “jumps” on the hour mark.   The last window is the day of the week.
 
Jumping Hour watches were popular in the 1970’s to try and combat the Quartz revolution that nearly saw Swiss watchmakers go out of business.
