This is a superb Helvetia Military style watch from the 1950’s.  It has a unique in-house Helvetia 830 movement that watchmakers love and admire for its unusual design.
 
The ratchet wheel, the crown wheel, and the click are “hidden” underneath an extra cover.  This movement also has an intermediate wheel between the 4th wheel and the sweep second pinion.
 
What makes the watch stand out for me is the lovely patina on the dial.  It looks like a new watch as the case is in great condition and the only tell tale of its vintage is the patina on the dial and its size.  
 
Recently serviced and running perfectly this is a watch that looks great and will last another 60 years if looked after as it has been.
 
It comes with a new Beige suede leather strap that matches the patina perfectly.
